Founded in 1982 by Mr. Jamshaid Hanif at just 26 years old, Pensy started with a simple goal — to bring top-quality fashion to Pakistan that could compete with international standards. Back then, people in Pakistan often relied on foreign-made clothing for quality and style. Pensy changed that by introducing innovative products like the iconic Safari Suit, ready-made two-piece suits, and printed denim trousers — styles never seen before in the local market.
By the 1990s, Pensy had become a well-known name across Pakistan, with its clothing available in over 150 outlets in nearly 24 cities. A major breakthrough came when Pensy partnered with Pierre Cardin, a leading French brand, to manufacture and distribute its clothing in Pakistan. This marked the beginning of Pensy’s journey into the international market.
Over the years, Pensy has proudly manufactured clothing for global brands like Next (UK), Papaya (UK), Jordan Craig (USA), J.C. Penney (USA), Venca (Spain), Blanche Porte (France) and even for military and government institutions like the Turkish Army, Jordan Army, Pakistan Army, Navy, ASF, and Islamabad Police.
